On the Couch | Tanya Lewis | Eco Organiser
Recently we were delighted to have Tanya Lewis, of Eco Organiser, a local business owner, an International Motivational Speaker, Waste Coach, Author and Interior Designer, join us #onthecouch. Tanya spoke about how she specialises in educating the world on ethically managing our waste to help protect our World and her love of the Mornington Peninsula.
It was very interesting to learn more about how individuals and businesses can manage waste better and work together for a healthier Earth.
Ever heard of Earth Overshoot Day?
This is when humanity creates more waste than the earth can cope with. Tanya talks about why Earth Overshoot day is important, and the ramifications of this and how we can make a difference. Tanya also explains what can be recycled in Victoria.
Recycling is the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new products. Recycling can benefit you, your community and the environment. By reducing air and water pollution and saving energy, recycling offers an important environmental benefit: it reduces emissions of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and chlorofluorocarbons, that contribute to global climate change A lover of our Mornington Peninsula, Tanya also talks about the areas that are most precious to her.
McNeill Real Estate are delighted to be hosting local business owners, identities' and personalities from around the Mornington Peninsula, to share their great products, services, and events with others.
This idea to share came about when the team, Janet McNeill and David Kershaw, realised that during the course of running their own business, they were meeting so many amazing people with great stories, that they wanted to let others know what was on their doorstep.
If you would like to be involved in sharing your own story, contact Janet or David to discuss further.... we cannot wait to meet you!
